Central Wireless & Satellite is now under new ownership, but with the same management.

October 1, 2009, Tom and Lisa French became the new owners of Central Wireless. Lisa has worked for Central Wireless as the General Manager since April 1, 2000, and has worked in the wireless industry since 1997. Tom works for the US Army Corps of Engineers and has for 31 years, 25 of those at Blakely Mountain Dam as a Senior Power Plant Operator.

Tom and Lisa have three children and three grand-children. Their son, Matt French and his wife Mellissa live in Portsmouth, Virginia with grandson, Brandon and granddaughter Paris. Their oldest daughter Kari Long and her husband Jason live in Goldsboro, North Carolina with granddaughter Isabelle. Their youngest daughter, Nina Villegas is a sophomore at Lakeside High School.

Lisa worked for the previous owner, Scott Lusher, who passed away in January of this year, and says “she is humbled by the opportunity for she and Tom to carry on Scott’s family owned and family focused company.”
